Missing: Camille Johnson

A Cobb County mother needs your help finding her missing daughter.

16-year-old Camille Johnson was last seen around 9 p.m. Wednesday (June 18th).

Authorities said the teen has significant health issues and is on medication. They said the teenager suffers from hypoglycemia, which may cause her to black out.

The teen does not have her medication or asthma pump, according to her mom.

The missing teen is described as black, 5 feet 1, and weighing between 110 and 115 pounds. She has a small tattoo on her right calf, a belly ring, and brown and platinum blonde braids.

If you have any information on the teen’s whereabouts, call (678) 699-1216 or dial 911

Deidra, it is so hard for me to visit your site. Everytime I do, my heart and soul are weighed down with the notices of the missing women and children. As this is your passion, I have no doubt that you must get angry with the lack of coverage when it comes to "our Black and Missing". It is like we don't exist. Like they "don't know or just don't show what goes on in the hood".

I want to do more to help you bring attention to the Black and Missing. As such, I am going to begin to use my Wordless Wednesday posts each week to help bring focus to this "American Tragedy". I'm thinking that is more of us would do the same (or something similar or even more), that maybe...just maybe...the media might get the message that not all missing Americans are white, blonde, and blue-eyed.

Anyway, just let me know how I can help.

While this site brings awareness to so many like myself that haven't heard of any of these cases it makes me wonder about our media. Why is that I've never seen any of these cases get mentioned by national media attention like other cases. It bothers me and I've just made a promise to myself that I will do more. We all have to do more to help our missing loved ones and those that we don't or may never know.

I would like to feature these children on my blogtalkradio show. I think that its time to create our own media outlet that might find these kids and reunite them with their families. Many of our shows are listened to be 1000s of people all over the country.

Its the least we can do.

I pledge to get the word out however I can.
