Amber Alert: McKenia Wright

A 13-year-old girl abducted her 11-month-old cousin during the night and drove off in a 2006 white Ford Escape, according to state officials who have issued an AMBER alert.
The abduction happened at 4 a.m. in the South Point subdivision in Summerville. McKenia Braelyn Wright, an 11-month-old black girl with brown eyes, black hair and pierced ears, was last seen wearing a white short one piece outfit with a red bib.
Jasmine Layre Wright, 13, who is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 190 pounds with brown eyes and her hair in a ponytail, is suspected of taking the girl in a 2006 white Ford Escape with S.C. tag 528 UXZ and a pink baby head band hanging from the rear-view mirror.
McKenia Wright, her mother, and Jasmine Wright were all spending the night together at 308 Mendenhall Road in Summerville, according to a spokeswoman with the State Law Enforcement Division. When the mother woke up at about 9 a.m., her car, her baby and Jasmine Wright were gone.
Officials believe Jasmine Wright left sometime around 4 a.m. with the child.
A spokeswoman with the State Law Enforcement Division said officials do not know where Wright was headed.
